Burger Bundles

I am NOT a huge hamburger eater, however, I will eat these. They are like a meatball with stuffing inside. Pretty yummy!

1 lb hamburger
1/2 C milk
1 box stovetop stuffing prepared

sauce:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1T Ketchup
1T Worcestershire sauce
1/2 soup can water

mix hamburger and milk together. I add seasonings to taste. You can add anything you like to flavor the hamburger. Divide into 4-6 meatballs, flatten each meat ball out and place a scoop of prepared stuffing inside. Roll the meat up and around the stuffing to form a large meatball. Place into a 9x13 pan.
Mix sauce ingredients together until smooth and pour over meatballs. Cover with foil and bake
350 for about 50-60 minutes
YUMMY

The Best Banana Bread

I originally got this Banana Bread recipe from my sister, Diane. I am not sure where she acquired it but it is truly divine. The beauty of this recipe for me, is that there are NO NUTS in this recipe. I am not a nut girl. But it is more of a dessert than anything. The things I LOVE about this bread is the maraschino cherries and the chocolate chips. ENJOY

Best Banana Bread
1 C Butter
2 C sugar
4 eggs
6 ripe bananas
4 C flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 C chocolate chips
1 C maraschino cherries (I cut mine in half)
if you LOVE nuts, add 1 C totally optional

Cream butter and sugar until really creamy. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Mix in mashed bananas. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and cherries (and nuts if you prefer) and fold in.
Pour into 3 smaller or 2 larger loaf pans (greased, unless you are using silicone baking pans) Bake 350 for 50-60 minutes, test center of bread with toothpick to make sure it is done

Intro

I have contemplated starting a recipe blog for sometime. And I guess now is the time. It feels right and with Kris working in a completely different state, I have more free time at night.
I hope at some time to be able to publish this blog into a recipe book for my kids. Feel free to use any recipes listed and I will try to post pictures and tips as I post the recipes.
Also, please feel free to comment and to post what you liked and didn't like and what you changed to make it your own. I love the feedback. Together we can come up with a lot of good eats!
